Feature Checklist
Track the shipped surface of the Skins product.
Runtime
- [x] Resolve the selected launcher skin manifest for visible players.
- [x] Recompose animated runtime textures from manifest revisions.
- [x] Override player skins client-side without server-side geometry changes.
- [x] Extrude opaque pixels for builder-selected 3D skin parts on Minecraft 1.21.2 and newer.
- [x] Keep unmarked parts and players beyond 12 blocks on vanilla flat layers.
Launcher builder
- [x] Toggle 3D rendering independently for each selected Pro skin part.
- [x] Preserve the toggle through undo, redo, local storage, cloud storage, and resolved manifests.
Capes
- [x] Animate Mojang and custom capes entirely client-side on Minecraft 1.21.2 and newer.
- [x] Add spring inertia and subtle wind motion on top of the vanilla cape pose.
- [x] Preserve vanilla visibility, equipment, and Elytra behavior.
Motion compatibility
- [x] Keep Skins focused on texture rendering when Motion is installed.
- [x] Let Motion own tracking, overlay editing, calibration, and avatar-state sync.
- [x] Avoid
skins:*avatar-state channels so Motion remains the canonical bridge.
Product
- [x] Publish Skins as the active product in docs, release metadata, and workspace config.
- [x] Keep Motion as a separate companion product for live motion and expression tracking.
